Audio Guides for Lewis and Clark Exhibit

The audio guide can be downloaded while in the Museum on an iPod or other Bluetooth-enabled, handheld device with mp3 support. For more information contact the Education Department at 361-825-3505.

For your convenience feel free to download the files now to save more time on your exhibit experience.


PC Download Instructions

  1. After clicking one of the links right, you should be prompted to save the file or given the option to "Open" or "Save". Choose "Save."
  2. Next you are given the option to pick a filename and folder to save the file to. We suggest keeping the name "302-339 Lewis and Clark.zip" and saving it in your "My Music" folder.
  3. Once the download is complete, locate the file on your computer and right click the icon. Select "Extract All" and follow the directions in the dialog box.

iPod Import Instructions

  1. Open Apple iTunes
  2. From the File menu, select "Add Folder to Library"
  3. Locate the Extracted File from Step 3 above and click "OK". The Files will be automatically added to your iTunes Library.
  4. For easy access to your audio guide, we recommend creating a new playlist containing only the audio guide files.
  5. Sync your new playlist to your iPod in the usual fashion.s

Audio Guides are "at your own pace" so please select each file as you approach the next exhibit rather than using an "all play" feature.
