Family Days

On four to five Sundays each year, parents are invited to bring their children to the Art Museum for a free afternoon of art activities, music and performances, and visits with artists. Refreshments are available and there is no charge for materials used to make a work of art, or instruction in dance, reading and/or performances. The goal is to establish stronger family ties through creative activities, as well as to introduce the Museum to families and encourage them to become involved in ongoing activities. Moms and Tots

Art programs for children ages 2-4 years, along with a parent or other adult helper, are offered from 1-2:30 p.m. on alternating Tuesdays. A maximum of 15 children may enroll in each class and RSVPs are required. Art teachers lead each class, which often are based on current exhibits in the Museum.
