Summer Art Camps

The Fine Art of Summer 2008

The popular summer arts camps are offered from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. over a six-week period in June & July. The sessions are divided by age, and activities include both performance and visual arts. Camp is open to ages 5 – 12. On the final day of each camp, an exhibition of work produced and a public performance is held for families and the community. Before and after care is available. Camps fill up quickly and early registration is advised. AMST members may register in person beginning March 27 at 9 a.m. For more information, contact AMST Education at 361/825-3504 or e-mail linda.rodriguez@tamucc.edu.

Other Camps

At other times through the year, the museum hosts day-long arts camps timed to coincide with the local school district breaks. Based on our successful summer camp format, these camps provide education and exciting arts experiences for children ages 5 – 12.
