The ArtCade is located in a 225 sq. foot space off the Singer gallery and is designed to offer families a fun
hands-on place in the Museum. A wide range of youth-oriented activities are available including computer
stations with drawing, painting and music programs, a library reading area, art activity kits, a puppet theatre,
architecture blocks, a Wii gaming station and more. The ArtCade serves as the clubhouse for the museum’s
youth program participants including Kids Club and Moms & Tots. Whether it’s the drop-in visitor or members
of the Kids Club, the ArtCade is a place where kids are free to express themselves through the arts!
The Larkin Library is located in the Kid Zone lower level area of the Johnson Building. With its brightly-colored
foam furniture, an array of children’s books of all shapes and sizes and colorful art on the walls, the
room is a favorite for families to sit and read together. Moms & Tots participants gather here for storytime as
part of their classes.
